A standard pre-purchase inspection typically takes around 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on the size, age and condition of the property. Larger or more complex homes may take longer.

No, you don’t need to be present. We can arrange access directly with the real estate agent or property owner. However, you’re welcome to attend if you’d like a walkthrough and have any questions answered onsite.

You’ll typically receive your report within 24 hours of the inspection. In many cases, we aim to deliver it on the same day so you can make decisions quickly, especially in time-sensitive situations.

Our pre-purchase building inspections are carried out in accordance with Australian Standard AS 4349.1–2007. This standard outlines a visual, non-invasive inspection of the property’s condition.

The inspection focuses on identifying major defects, safety hazards, and general maintenance issues across all accessible areas of the building.

This includes:
